“Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.””
Context: A promise given to a whole nation at a frightening transition.
Being alone and feeling alone are different problems, and Scripture addresses both — presence that does not depend on company, and a community you are meant to be part of.
If this has lasted a long time, consider telling one person this week. That is often how the second kind of answer arrives.

Context: A promise given to a whole nation at a frightening transition.
“Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! Context: A tour of impossible places, each one occupied already.
“Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.””
Context: Quoted from the Old Testament as a settled word: he will never leave you.
“teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Context: The final line of Matthew's Gospel, attached to a commission rather than to comfort alone.
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.”
Context: Written about the worst-case abandonment — even by parents.
“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Context: Presence and strengthening promised in the same breath.
