Read them slowly; several are summary statements written after long stretches of waiting.

The passages
“For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.”
Context: Paul's claim that the promises find their yes in Christ, written while defending a change of travel plans.
“Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”
Context: A closing summary after the land is divided: not one good word failed.
“let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.”
Context: Hold fast is the instruction; faithfulness is located in the promiser.
“by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.”
Context: Promises described as precious and very great, given for a purpose.
“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won’t do it? Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?”
Context: Balaam's oracle contrasting God with people who say one thing and do another.
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and loving in all his deeds.”
Context: A line about an everlasting kingdom and faithfulness in all his words.
